Les Petits Cherubs is open to care for your children. We are also offering child care during virtual school days.
Our number one priority is maintaining safe and healthy child care environments at our campuses. In addition to our own health and safety protocols, we have implemented CDC recommended preventative measures and are following guidance and directives from our state government to keep children, their families, and our staff safe.
Some of our policies and procedures include:
Face Coverings
In accordance with state requirements, staff and children ages two and older must wear face coverings indoors. Face coverings are also required outside when unable to maintain the 6 foot social distance from others. We will provide face covering breaks such as when children are eating and spaced at least 6 feet apart.
Frequent Cleaning & Hand Washing
Our staff has implemented an even more rigorous and frequent cleaning and disinfecting routine for our campuses. All high-touch surfaces are sanitized regularly throughout the day. Objects, such as toys and games, are sanitized after every use. Staff and children are washing hands often with soap and water.
Drop-off & Pick-up Procedures
Drop-offs and pick-ups are curbside with limited, direct contact to adhere to social distancing recommendations. Staff will greet children outside as they arrive for drop-off and guide them to their classrooms. For pick-up, staff will bring children outside to meet parents or designated persons. Ideally, the same parent or designated person should drop-off and pick-up the child every day.
Screen Staff & Children Upon Arrival
Staff and children who have a fever of 100.0 or above or other signs of illness are not admitted on campus. We encourage parents to be on the alert for signs of illness in their children and keep them home when sick. As staff and children arrive on campus, we conduct temperature screenings.
Practice Social Distancing
Child care classes include the same group of children each day and teachers remain with the same group of children each day. Playground times are staggered and classes are separated for special activities, such as art and music, to limit the mixing of classrooms. During nap time, children are spaced out for social distancing. For the time being, school family events are canceled and visitors are not allowed on campus. If you are a prospective parent, view our virtual tours or schedule a live video tour.
Our teachers are dedicated to providing a warm, nurturing classroom where your children can learn, have fun, and feel safe. If you have any questions about our policies and procedures, please contact us at 610-650-8157.
